Night Recorder App Reviews

I like the idea of this app, but the only bad thing about it is that I couldnt listen to White Noise - an app that helps me fall asleep faster - and run this at the same time. The other thing that I dont like is the fact that the interface was hard for me to understand at first. Why cant you just press record to record? All together a very nice app, but I dont think that it is worth $2.99.

This is a really handy app to keep around. I found that it works great as just a session recorder without eating up all of your memory. I found that as a night recorder it works well unless you roll over or any ambient noise triggers the recorder to start recording... Like the dog drinking water in the middle of the night.

This app is really cool... Not a must have, but if u want to have a little fun, this app is worth the cash. It starts and stops recording to whatever sensitivity u set. I recomend this.

Easy to use, excellent look and does exactly what it says. You can turn recorder on and it only records when it hears noise. Files are easy to access and review. I can think of many uses for this product. Nice job!

This is a very cool app. Only negative is the lack of instuctions. It is actually a VOX ( voice activated ) recorder. You control the level at which recording starts. You can not simply turn on the recorder, but you can set the level low enough that it will start recording immediately. From the recorded CAF format file you can transfer the file to your MAC or PC via WIFI and then convert it to MP3 etc. In addition to recording the sounds you make when you are sleeping, it can record and transfer all types of sounds. Incredibly possibilities.

This app is simple, stealth, accessable, powerful & capable. I cant wait to use this app on my iPad !!!

I use this recorder to dictate school notes and review them , and i also use it to record guitar sessions with my friends. It works great for both! The grafics are nice , ... i would definately recommend this to a fellow ipod , iphone user.

very cool for gathering evidence that your wife does actually snore. Just make sure that you turn on airplane mode if your going to leave it on the night table overnight. Also great to keep on your desk and record conversations. I like that each voice file has its own date and time started and length of recording.

It works perfectly, and its beautiful, what more could you ask? I love the fact that its sound activated, so you could use it for a meeting and it only starts up when someone speaks, and doesnt record a lot of dead air. Im going to use it tonight to see if I *really* snore or not .... The interface is gorgeous, I love that the reels spin when you are recording. Definitely a good buy.

Nothing tells someone to be quiet like a recording. and nothing is as annoying as snoring. When you need proof this is the app for that. Anyone who hears themselves snoring is bound to change their attitide torwards sleep.

This is a really cool app. Its deffinetly worth the money!

I love the cool 1950s reel to reel tape interface. Records well. Great for those " I dont snore" arguments btwn spouses. Might be good to see if you really talk in your sleep.

I like the fact that it starts when it heats sound and stops when there is none. ** Please add the ability to edit the name of a file.

Finally got voice confirmation of all the talking my wife does in her sleep! Unfortunately she also got proof of all the snoring I do, but still, great app, worth the price.

Hopefully the upgrade will fix the ip address problem. Until then, I wont be able to transfer my files to my Mac. Otherwise, I really like this app! A support link would be nice! Night Recorder 1.1 has been approved. - iPod compatibility - New function to delete all Rec files - Bug fixed Night Recorder 1.2 has been submitted to Apple for approval, and will hopefully be available for download within a few days. - Resolve the problem about the list file on browser connection. These are a free upgrades for all Night Recorder owners.

This is an awesome app but it seriously needs an update. Multitasking and retina display.
